An elegant pair of nickel-plated carbon steel paper scissors for the precise cutting of paper. The blades are long and straight, producing long, straight cuts. Great for all sorts of paper crafts, from collage to garland-making, to wall-paper cutting. The scissors’ precisely tensioned blades cut cleanly along their full length, without chewing or crumpling the paper.
Made in Italy by Alpen, located in Premana, a small village in the mountains of Lombardy known for its rich history in the production of high-quality scissors and blades. Each blade is skilfully crafted by an apprentice-trained ‘Regolatori’, using experience and techniques passed down through several generations. Measures 26cm in length, with the blades measuring 14cm.
Nickel-plated carbon steel scissors require special attention to prevent tarnishing and damage to the blades. Make sure to wipe clean, dry thoroughly and occasionally oil to protect from any humidity.
