A string and washer envelope containing an organic cotton washcloth and a natural Hinoki-scented soap. The three-layer gauze washcloth, with the middle layer a half-weight weave, making this towel lightweight, absorbent and quick to dry. Utilising an irregular weave pattern produces a unique, exquisitely soft texture, creating a wonderfully tactile cloth. Made in Senshu, Osaka by the Shinto Towel company — established over a century ago, this family-run business is on a quest to produce the perfect towel, using environmentally low-impact production methods.
The handcrafted Kobe Honey soap contains Nunobiki Water and Mount Rokkou Honey, creating a gentle, richly moisturising soap. The water of Nunobiki, Kobe is certified by the Japanese Ministry of the Environment as one of their 100 purest waters, while the acacia honey harvested on the southern slopes of Mt. Rokko in Hyogo Prefecture is extremely pure and of high quality. In addition to honey, which is naturally moisturising, this soap is luxuriously blended with a blend of shea butter, jojoba oil, cocoa butter, macadamia nut oil, and almond oil. Made by Mutenka Sekken Honpo, who have been producing all-natural soaps in the Miki District, Hyōgo Prefecture since 1955.
