Woven Washi Paper Moccasin Style Slippers, Extra Large

A pair of moccasin style slippers, crafted in Japan from a unique fabric composed entirely of washi paper. During the process of making a sheet of traditional Japanese washi paper, kumazasa (a type of bamboo) flakes are blended into the the mix to create a sheet of Sasawashi paper. These sheets are then cut into either narrow or wide strips, the twisting of which respectively create fine and thick yarns, which can then be woven or knitted into products with all the benefits of this new yarn — including high water and oil absorbency, natural antibacterial and deodorant power from the added kumazasa, and a washing durability on par with Cotton. These slippers will keep your feet dry and comfortable, and are especially recommended for barefoot wearing. Sized large, measuring 28cm to 30.5cm.
