Lithuanian Linen Napkin, Summer Gingham

Lithuanian Linen Napkin, Summer Gingham
£13.00
Ex Tax: £10.83

A classic linen napkin with a warm and summery blend of purple and yellow in a classic gingham check. Great for creating a homely and cheerful table setting. Woven from 100% linen in Lithuania for Fog Linen Works of Japan.

Designed by Yumiko Sekine, founder of Fog Linen Works. Sekine started her first business in 1993 importing goods from around the world to Japan — finding a shortage of affordable, high-quality linen, she travelled to Lithuania in 1999, where a long tradition of flax cultivation and linen production inspired a partnership with a local manufacturer. What began as a collection of seven textile products has since grown into an extensive range of linen towels and cloths, as well as a range of household products created in collaboration with skilled artisans from India.

Measures 45cm by 45cm. Machine wash under 30ºc and air dry or tumble dry on low heat to reduce shrinkage or damage to the natural fibres.

Care Advice

Wash separately at 40 — 60°C, in plenty of water. Avoid softener and bleach, especially on towels as this can affect their absorbency. Do not tumble dry and reshape while damp. Linen bought “Unwashed” will shrink by approximately 7% after washing, its surface wrinkling and softening. Iron while the fabric is still damp, remembering that linen dries quickly.
