Mora 106 Sloyd Wood Carving Knife, 82mm Blade

A carving knife from Morakniv of Sweden made to the classic Erik Frost 106 pattern. The 106 has an 82mm narrow, tapering blade of laminated carbon steel, combining excellent edge holding ability with robustness and a slight flexibility, allowing for precise working. The full tang, which runs the full length of the handle, gives it strength and stability, while the large rounded handle makes for a comfortable hold. These are sharpened without a secondary bevel as this tends to push the edge out of the work-piece. Supplied with a plastic sheath.
