Hand Shovel, Painted Steel & Beech

A simple pressed-steel, painted dust shovel with a stained beech handle and leather hanging loop. Ideal as a hearth scoop — although only with cold ashes — or for rugged outdoor use. From the Versmold workshops of the Redecker company, founded by Friedrich Redecker in the 1930s, who specialise in the production of unusual and high quality brushes, made using traditional techniques and largely natural materials. Fits perfectly with their stained beech and arenga fibre hand brush.
