Notebook Pencil Refill Leads, HB, 2mm x 60mm

A pack of 4 replacement HB leads for the Koh-i-Noor notebook pencil - a thinner pencil with a mechanical advance and integral sharpener (inside the push button) for purses, pockets and small notebooks. During the Napoleonic wars a continental shortage of high quality Cumbrian graphite pushed Joseph Hardtmuth to develop a pencil lead made from powdered graphite mixed with clay and in so doing created the very first modern pencil.
