Swedish mushroom brush, oiled beech & horsehair

An elegantly turned, oiled-beech handled mushroom brush set with dark horsehair — for brushing soil or compost from mushrooms, and used without water to better preserve flavour and texture. Made by Iris Hantwerk, whose workshops in Sweden and Poland employ visually impaired craftsmen — a tradition in the world of brush-making. After use allow to dry if damp and brush vigorously against the fingers to remove any loose dirt — best kept dry. Measures approximately 16.5cm total length, with bristles of about 3cm.
