A white vitreous ceramic enamel colander with a black rim and bowl diameter of about 18cm. Firing in a traditional kiln results in slight variations of temperature and therefore colour and nature of finish. All our Ukrainian enamelware is triple coated onto a heavy steel base, is dishwasher safe, does not taint food with novel chemicals or flavours, and is suitable for use in both hot and cold situations. One supplied.

Care Advice

Enamel can chip upon impact. Provided there are only chips on the exterior surface the item will still be safe to use. We recommend repurposing or disposing of enamel products chipped on the interior surface. Enamel is generally dishwasher safe, though we recommend hand washing especially when items are chipped.
