Savon Noir

Savon Noir is a multi-use 100% natural soap cleaner and cleanser for household cleaning, outdoor use, and personal hygiene care. Unlike other black soaps made from linseed oil, Marius Fabre's black soap is made from olive oil, which is how it gets its lovely dark brown colour. It is solvent-free, possesses no artificial colours, biodegradable and safe for the environment. Savon Noir has been perfected over four generations of family expertise, making it incredibly versatile.

For the kitchen, Savon Noir cleans and removes fatty deposits from cookers, all types of hobs, extractor fans, ovens, worktops and sinks. It also cleans and removes grease from frying pans, deep fat fryers, and other kitchenware. Simply place a small amount of black soap on a sponge, wash, then rinse with hot water. For cleaning copper and silverware, dilute three to four tablespoons of black soap and some hot water. Soak your items for approximately 10 minutes. No need to rinse — let them air dry and buff with a soft cloth to ensure maximum shine.

For cleaning other areas in the home, this type of soap cleans and adds shine to all types of flooring, including tiles, terracotta, ceramic, laminate, marble and wooden parquet. Just dilute two tablespoons of black soap in a bucket of water and clean. There is no need to rinse. This soap also leaves windows and other glass surfaces flawlessly clean and bright. Dilute one teaspoon of black soap in two litres of hot water. Apply with a sponge, wipe clean with a squeegee and polish with a microfibre cloth.

Savon Noir can also be used diluted in spray form to protect plants from insects such as aphids, red spiders, mealy bugs, and ant hills without harming plants and the soil.
