Finnish Jacquard Woven Pièce de Lin, Natural

A soft, washed linen table cloth or pièce de lin featuring pretty jacquard-woven sprigs of marjoram — perfect for use as a tablecloth, bedspread (especially on hot summer nights) or throw. Linen is a natural fibre made from flax, in this case, sustainably grown in central Europe without artificial irrigation.

Designed by Elina Helenius, a Helsinki based textile artist in collaboration with the master weavers of Lapuan Kankurit. Lapuan Kankurit, a fourth-generation weaving family from Finland and has been creating their beautiful linen fabrics for over 45 years — from making the yarn from scratch to the final sewn piece. Wash separately in 40ºc to 60ºc water and avoid softener or bleach.

Measures 145 x 260cm.
